With inspiration in a self-selected work of art at CHPEA Museum, you need to design a showpiece. Select and describe your target group for the task. Prepare two imageboards – product and lifestyle, and describe the target group’s values, norms, shopping behaviour and styling. Based on a sustainable strategy from Teds Ten, as well as your knowledge of the target group, you need to design a commercial collection of min. 8 jersey tops, which are inspires by your showpiece and the chosen work of art. The 8 jersey tops must be drawn as working drawings. Choose fabrics/materials for your collection. In the design process of the showpiece and the 8 commercial jersey tops, you must make use of the idea generation methods from the lecture. The process must be documented in a sketchbook. To present your inspiration and the 8 jersey tops, you need to create a graphic presentation that suits your inspiration and target group. You choose the format yourself. Choose one of the 8 jersey tops that you need to design and sew. The jersey top must be designed and processed with appropriate methods in relation to your choice of design and materials.
