The challenge
We made all working sketches based. on a template, this is to make sure that all garments are based from the same proportions.
The goal
The template we use is size 1:5 and it is based on a size 38c, but as we sketch-like seeing the garments on a doll or a person the template is made 15% smaller on the width, as this part is not visual when you look from front or back. Sometimes you need to make a working sketch from the side to show all detail, this is often used for pants.
